NPI Engineer

Required Qualifications:

· Lead product related NPI activities, starting from the design stage& DFx, through first article stage to implementation & sustain.

· Support production achieving system spec, support all Production needs. In addition, design required jigs & tools, cost reduction activity, troubleshooting.

· Support and lead all Operations responsibility including field failure analysis reports, wavers from spec. ECO, EOL, Work Procedures, Design testing Jigs, Failure Analysis, CIP etc.

· Product Data Management – act as an authority in the field. Administrator to the EPDM (Solidworks) system.

· Engineering support to all departments (Service, logistics, Purchasing, QA, R&D & Subcontractors), supplier qualifications and audits, developing/upgrading parts, cost reduction projects.

· Mechanical design to support Production and R&D. Extended knowledge of technical drawings.

· Define and implement engineering related processes (ECO, Rework, V&V)

· Work according to medical device regulation, close interface with Q&R

· Project management of different process in the company

Requirements:

· B.Sc. Mechanical engineering

· 4 years’ experience in multi-disciplinary industry, including electronics, software, optics, motion control, mechanics and manufacturing

·  Experience with Engineering processes - Transfer-to-production, NPI activity, R&D support

· 4 years’ experience with SolidWorks – must, EPDM administrator - Advantage

·  Medical device industry experience – advantage

· ERP Experience - Advantage

Languages:

 Hebrew – High level, English – High level
