Payroll Accountant

We are looking for a Payroll Accountant with experience in Israeli payroll regulations and systems to manage payroll for 300-500 employees. This role will also provide support to the bookkeeping team .

Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

• Accurately process payroll for 300-500 employees in accordance with Israeli labor laws and regulations.
• Ensure all payroll taxes and deductions are calculated and reported correctly.
• Manage employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
  
  

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing reports related to employee costs, headcount, and variances.
  
  

• Support the bookkeeping team in maintaining accurate financial records.
• Post payroll-related entries to the general ledger and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving accounting discrepancies.
• Provide additional support as needed.
  
  

• Minimum 4+ years of payroll experience, preferably managing payroll for 300-500 employees.
  
  

• Hands-on experience with Israeli salary systems and payroll software.
• Strong Excel skills for payroll data analysis and report generation.
  
  

• Thorough understanding of Israeli payroll laws, taxes, benefits, and labor regulations.
