System Validation Engineer

We are looking for a System Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization. Job Summary:

As a System Validation Engineer at NP, you will be responsible for the validation, characterization of products based advanced high-speed optical systems. You will work across the product life cycle, ensuring that PIC-based systems meet design specifications and performance requirements. This role requires a strong background in optics, RF, chip design, firmware, software, production and automation, along with excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on lab work, including characterization and testing of photonic components and systems.
• Develop and execute test plans for system validation and performance characterization,
• Automate test and measurement procedures using Python, C#, or similar languages. Characterize and analyze high-speed optical, RF, and electrical signals to validate module performance.
• Support the full product life cycle, from early prototype validation to high-volume manufacturing. Responsible for KPI product validation cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and software engineers, to ensure robust system integration.
• Drive improvements in test methodologies, data analysis, and automation frameworks.
  
  

• B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on integration experience with discrete and integrated components
• Strong expertise in automation and scripting using Python, C#, or similar languages
• Proven experience with LAB Test equipment and ability to debug complex hardware, firmware, and software issues.
• Strong analytical skills for processing and interpreting test data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams and functional groups.
• Experience with SerDes technology is highly desirable.
