Senior DevOps Team Lead

Role Overview:

As the Senior DevOps Technical Lead, you will be at the forefront of our client

engagements, leading the technical execution of DevOps solutions and working closely

with our clients to ensure successful outcomes. You’ll manage teams, provide

mentorship, and leverage your technical expertise to guide projects from concept to

completion.

What will you do:

As part of your role, you'll be responsible for:

● Managing large-scale and complex client environments in top Israeli tech

companies

• Defining the DevOps roadmap and communicating the progress to all
• stakeholders
• Managing a team of mostly remote top-tier DevOps engineers
• Leading sprint planning, design, and lessons learned sessions

● Engage in business development initiatives, such as:

• Mapping growth and expansion opportunities with clients
• Identifying potential projects and communicating with leading cloud
• vendors, such as AWS, to seek and negotiate funding opportunities.
• Taking ownership of our pre-sale and post-sale processes while

collaborating with our partners, cloud vendors, and the sales team regarding technical and business requirements.

● Participate in hiring processes to support our People organization in finding and

attracting the best DevOps talent in EMEA.

● Contributing to our technical Delivery organization by mapping out new or

improving existing internal proceses.

What will you need

We aim to keep a healthy balance between management and technical work. This role

is ideal for engineers who would like to keep a foot on the technical side while

sharpening and taking their management skills to the next level!

An ideal candidate should have 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and

Lead (in total) working with cloud-native technologies and public clouds.

Proven project management skills, including planning, execution, and delivery of

complex projects on time and within budget, while coordinating cross-functional teams

and managing client expectations.

1. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with

senior stakeholders.

2. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

3. Experience in pre-sale - and advantage

4. Project management experience - a must

5. Strong organizational and leadership skills - a must

6. Strong technical background in the fields of:

a. Deep expertise in AWS/Google Cloud

b. Extensive expertise with K8S and containerized workloads

c. Experience working with both relational databases such as

PostgreSQL/MySQL and non-relational such as MongoDB / DynamoDB /

ElasticSearch / Cassandra

d. CI/CD ( Github / Gitlab/ Jenkins and Helm / ArgoCD / Flux)

e. Monitoring, observability, and logging tools such as Prometheus and the

Grafana stack or commercial stacks like Datadog

f. Data/AI-related projects - an advantage
