UVeye is looking for a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our Product & Projects Group and play a critical role in developing and deploying our advanced automotive inspection solutions.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

Develop deep technical expertise in UVeye’s multi-disciplinary inspection systems to support product development and customer implementations.
Collaborate with R&D teams (Hardware, Software, AI, Computer Vision & Data Science) to define and develop new capabilities aligned with customer needs.
Work on complex computer vision algorithms, incorporating both AI-driven and classical methodologies for anomaly detection and stereo imaging applications.
Act as a technical liaison, communicating and collaborating with customers, vendors, and third-party partners.
Support the seamless transition of new products and processes from R&D to full-scale deployment, working closely with Customer Support and Engineering teams.
Lead and manage Alpha and Beta testing of new products and features at customer sites, both remotely and onsite.
Drive Agile R&D matrix work, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of the product roadmap.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science.
2+ years of experience in a hands-on engineering role, preferably in a multi-disciplinary product environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Experience with Linux-based systems – advantage.
Experience with cloud-based products – advantage.
Experience in multi-disciplinary systems involving hardware, software, and AI – advantage.
Strong communication skills in English.
