Network Algorithm Developer

A leading defense technology company in Netanya developing advanced technological solutions is looking for a Network Algorithm Developer, specializing in MANET systems and tactical solutions, to develop and enhance cross-domain products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve network simulation models for MANET systems and their behavior in tactical conditions.
• Design, develop, and optimize algorithms with a focus on the MAC layer.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate simulation insights into the product development process.
• Analyze and validate MANET protocols to ensure stable performance in real-world conditions.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (M.Sc. is an advantage).
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in C++ development, with an emphasis on algorithm design and optimization.
• Strong background in algorithm development and optimization, particularly in network systems with a focus on the MAC layer.
• Proven expertise in protocol design and performance optimization for real-time or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and developing maintainable simulation tools (advantage).
• Familiarity with advanced concepts such as reinforcement learning, AI-based optimization, or data-driven decision-making (advantage).
• Experience with network simulation tools (e.g., OPNET Modeler, OMNET++) (advantage).
• Knowledge of CUDA or parallel processing techniques for performance-critical applications (advantage).
