Summary of role and team:

The Quality Control position is an entry-level role designed for a candidate eager to learn and contribute to the Quality department. The successful candidate will be trained to support various quality control activities, with a focus on administrative and hands-on tasks. This role involves coordinating quality control activities, performing record documentation, and managing the lab test results logbook. It offers a balance of hands-on and administrative tasks, providing a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge in the food tech industry.

Your Day to Day:

Execute Facility Sampling Plan: Carry out sampling in accordance with the established facility sampling plan and EMP, following aseptic procedures as required.

External Lab Coordination: Communicate with external laboratories, manage the logistics of sampling, and track and follow up on test results.

Manage Lab Test Results Logbook: Maintain an accurate and organized logbook of lab test results and input them into the Quality Management System (QMS) software.

Support Food Safety Initiatives: Assist with food safety deviations, contribute to Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) of food safety incidents, and participate in corrective action planning.

The ideal candidate:

• Student in Food Technology/Life science/ Biotechnology or other related fields
• Availability for 2-3 days a week (at least 18 hours per week)
• Highly organized
• Superior attention to detail
• Self-motivated, quick learner
• High level of communication skills
• High-level in English

Nice to Have:

· Familiar with food safety regulations and standards.

· Experience in lab work/ administrative work (chemical or biological).
