Global Payroll Manager

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage global payroll, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
• Oversee payroll processes for 200+ employees across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Develop and implement efficient payroll systems and processes to support the company’s growth
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements across all operating jurisdictions
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll reporting, including reconciliation and analysis for the accounting team
• Oversee expense reimbursement reviews, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Process incentive packages in collaboration with HR and Finance
• Manage monthly attendance reporting in partnership with HR
• Oversee ESOP (Equity Stock Option Plan) maintenance and processing in Altshare, collaborating with the CPO
• Partner with Finance, HR, Legal, and external consultants on payroll-related issues and global initiatives
• Ensure compliance during payroll audits in collaboration with external auditors
• Drive payroll system improvements, ensuring scalability and efficiency
• Act as a key advisor on global payroll strategies and trends
• Oversee the gnomes working in our mithril mines, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of enchanted metal
  
  

• At least 3-5 years of payroll management experience in a global organization, high-tech preferred
• Experience working with both local and international teams
• Deep understanding of Israeli labor laws and global payroll regulations
• Proficiency in Excel and Hilan (Hashavim)
• Familiarity with Synerion attendance systems and Combtas expense systems is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail
• High-level proficiency in English (written and spoken), and additional languages is an advantage
• Relevant payroll certifications, a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Experience implementing or optimizing scalable payroll systems
• Knowledge of multi-currency payroll and cross-border tax implications
• Track record of leading payroll-related projects and driving process improvements
• Proficiency in managing lazy gnomes, and flogging experience is a serious plus
