Payroll Accountant

We are looking for a Payroll Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves the preparation of payroll for approximately 200 employees and managing various employee-related data.

The key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly payroll and salary payments for employees.
• Managing employee data in the Malam system.
• Ensuring accurate attendance data and calculating monthly salaries and deductions.
• Handling pension, provident fund, and continuing education contributions for employees.
• Onboarding new employees and handling employment termination procedures.
• Working with various internal departments, including employees and managers.
• Recording employee entries in the ledger, including payroll entries and payments.
• Preparing reports and submitting them to authorities.

Requirements:

• Payroll Accountant certification with at least 5 years of experience (mandatory).
• Experience and knowledge of the Malam system (advantageous).
• Full proficiency in Excel (mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail, high level of responsibility, confidentiality, and service orientation.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Ability to work in a full-time position.
