Position Description

We are seeking a skilled BI Developer with a proven track record and expertise in data visualization tools, namely Power BI . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that transform data into informative visuals and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain BI Solutions: Design, build, and deploy BI solutions using Power BI and other tools.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based systems.
• Create Reports and Dashboards: Develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards to visualize key business metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver accurate, actionable reports.
• Data Modeling: Build and refine data models to support reporting solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Regularly update and optimize dashboards to ensure performance and scalability.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to data integration, performance tuning, and report accessibility.
• Documentation: Document processes and methodologies used in developing BI solutions.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query/SQL, as well as a solid understanding of database/programming principles and best practices.
• Data Integration: Skilled in integrating data from multiple sources.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Data Visualization: Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Familiarity with Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server.
• Certification in Power BI or related BI tools.
