Hardware Engineer – Cutting-Edge High Tech firm - Central region

We are a leading high-tech firm based in Central Israel, specializing in the development, testing, and manufacturing of innovative submersible defense systems for the naval industry. We are looking for a talented and experienced Electronics or Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and design Digital and Analog circuits, including high-speed planning and FPGA embedded systems.

- Design and plan DC/DC power supplies and high-speed amplifiers & filters (DAC/ADC).

- Work with ORCAD/xDX Designer and other relevant tools.

- Contribute to the design and development of high current and high voltage systems.

- Take the lead in electronics aspects of various projects.

- Communicate effectively with foreign clients, providing updates on project status, issues, and development progress.

- Available for international travel to customer facilities as needed.

- Collaborate closely within a team-oriented environment.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital and Analog electronics design.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FPGA systems, DC/DC power supply planning, and amplifiers & filters.

- Expertise in using ORCAD/xDX Designer.

- Experience with high current and high voltage designs.

- Proven track record of leading and managing electronics-focused projects.

- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

Qualifications:

Applicants MUST have strong knowledge of the following:

• Develop automation for complex RF systems, including:
• Designing test benches.
• Selecting suitable digital and RF components.
• Controlling test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers and Signal Generators.
• Utilize XML, Excel, and Text files for:
• Storing measurement limits, test results, and procedures.
• Managing the testing process via C#-based software.
• Draw electrical harnesses and test benches using Visio.
• Perform integration and troubleshooting of complex analog (RF) and digital PCBs using OrCAD and Allegro Physical Viewer.
• Work on PCBs featuring:
• FPGA, DDR4, LMK, Sequencers, DC/DC, ADC, DAC, OCXO.
• Current, voltage, and temperature sensors.
• Combiners, PLLs, Mixers, Filters, Amplifiers, Attenuators.
• Experience with communication protocols:
• SerialLite, I2C, SPI, RS232, RS422.
