Director of Industrial Consulting & Operational Excellence

A well-established and successful consulting firm specializing in operational excellence is seeking a senior professional to take on the role of Director of Industrial Consulting & Operational Excellence.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with an engineering background and a strong track record as an operational consultant and an operations manager in the industrial sector. The position includes full responsibility for leading the consulting division as an independent profit and loss unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the consulting division for industrial companies, with a focus on heavy industry, manufacturing plants, logistics, and warehouses.
• Design and oversee complex consulting processes, developing tailored solutions to improve profitability and streamline operational processes.
• Drive business development efforts, including expanding client portfolios, acquiring new clients, and initiating strategic partnerships.
• Manage and mentor a team of consultants, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Spearhead innovative projects to support continuous growth and achieve strategic goals.
• Play an integral role in organizational development and leading advanced operational transformations, particularly in supply chain optimization, automation, and robotics.

This is a Full-time position based in Tel Aviv Israel, with the flexibility of hybrid work.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management or Mechanical Engineering – mandatory.
• Previous experience as a consultant in an operational consulting firm – mandatory.
• Experience as an Senior Operations Manager in an industrial company – mandatory.
• Proven track record in leading cross-organizational operational projects and large-scale process improvements.
• Significant experience in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory optimization.
• Strong advantage for candidates with expertise in automation and robotics.
• Business development experience, including client acquisition and expanding business operations – mandatory.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to manage a P&L unit and drive innovative initiatives.
