Senior Controller

As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Controller to join our team and ensure the financial integrity and strategic support critical to our success.

The Senior Controller will play a pivotal role in managing Webz.io’s financial operations, reporting, and strategic financial planning. As a key partner to senior management, the Controller will oversee accounting practices, implement robust internal controls, and drive financial insights to support informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have a few years of experience as a Financial Controller in the hi-tech industry (with background from SaaS startups), possess hands-on and self-learning abilities and interpersonal skills, and serve as a strong team player.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly closing of financial reports, including consolidation of subsidiaries’ results, preparation of reporting packages for management and Potential investors.
• Books control - supervision of the bookkeeper and payroll accountants’ records and direct management of the company bookkeeper.
• Preparation and maintenance of business models and budgets.
• Management and design of operational interfaces between financial systems.
• Implementation of working processes and accounting standards.
• Preparation and support of the annual audit (Big4 standard).
• Ongoing interfaces with companies’ service providers and consultants.
• Work in Hebrew and English environments.

Requirements:

• CPA, ex-Big4 firm.
• At least 2 roles following the internship in high-tech companies/start-ups (as a controller/assistant controller), of which at least 1 SaaS company.
• Fluent English – spoken & written.
• Excel expert with excellent analytical skills.
• Mobility – office-based work. Flexibility for hybrid work.
• Experience with US accounting and taxation.
• High communication and interpersonal skills, service oriented and a team player.
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines.
