The role

We are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst TL to join our team and become one of the data leaders at RiseUp.

RiseUp has a wide variety of financial data on customers and financial transactions. The Data Analysis team helps us analyze this data and derive insights and recommendations.

• The Data Analysts support management and the organization by providing data, dashboards, analysis, and insights about various organizational data. 
• Cooperate with Data Scientists, R&D, Operations and other parts of the organization on data structure and pipelines to create the best data stores and processes.
• Lead data knowledge and standards/quality at Riseup.
• Combination of hands-on work and leading a small team of data analysts.  
• Lead data knowledge and standards/quality in the team.

Requirements 

Must

At least 2 years managing Data analyst teams. 

• At least 5+ years of experience in the industry as a Data Analyst
• 3 years experience in SQL and database queries
• Knowledge of one or more of the tools:
• Databases – rational databases(e.g. MySql/Postgress), 
• Mongo, BigQuery/redshift/snowflake
• Proven experience in working with Business departments in the industry (providing data insights and data analysis)
• Experience in building database schemas and data aggregations
• Experience in building business-focused reports from data
• Innovative and gets-things-done

• Experience working in small startups and B2C companies – an advantage
• Building Data Pipelines and understanding database structures
• Knowledge of Machine Learning models and their usage from databases /working with Data Science teams – an advantage
