Software Architect C++

Required for a leading security company in Holon: Software Architect to join the architecture team.

Responsibilities:

• Writing C/C++ code examples that interact with hardware.
• Defining all software components (including infrastructure) prior to the application layer.
• Managing the card/LRU for generic tasks shared between different applications running on the same card/LRU, such as temperature monitoring.
• Defining hardware-software interfaces for all components in the system/card.
• Research and implementation for architecture validation at the demo level, including performing Bring-up of EVBs (Evaluation Boards) to reduce risk.
• Defining configurations for components to handle data traffic for different bus types (e.g., PCIe, LAN), including PCIe Bridges/LAN Switches Configuration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Ability to write C/C++ code examples that interact with hardware.
• At least 7 years of experience in relevant fields.
• In-depth knowledge of hardware-software-firmware interfaces and software infrastructure.
• Experience working with operating systems (mainly Linux), drivers, and BSP development environments for SOM/SOC/Microcontroller components.
• Ability to research and implement architecture validation at the demo level, and perform Bring-up of EVBs.
• Deep familiarity with CPU/GPU processing capabilities and memory bottlenecks.
