The PMO Director is responsible for establishing and leading the Project Management Office, ensuring that all strategic initiatives and projects align with the company’s goals. This role involves working closely with the CEO and executive leadership to drive project execution, governance, and business transformation while improving efficiency and collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Align project portfolios with company objectives and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Work closely with the CEO to translate business strategies into actionable projects and programs.
Project Governance & Risk Management:
- Establish governance policies, standards, and reporting structures to track project progress, KPIs, and ROI.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Develop executive-level reports and dashboards to provide visibility on project performance, risks, and outcomes.
- Present regular updates to the CEO and senior leadership on project status, milestones, and critical issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project performance data and optimizing processes.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration:
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across different departments to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between executives, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure clear objectives and expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, strategy execution, or operations.
- Proven experience working closely with C-level executives.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Expertise in portfolio management, risk assessment, and governance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, Power BI).
- Experience in the fashion/ textile industry- advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Project completion rate within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Portfolio alignment with strategic business goals.
- Stakeholder satisfaction and executive feedback.
- Efficiency improvements in project execution.
