For startup in Stealth mode with breakthrough IP of Hybrid Semiconductor and Superconductor based device , the founding team ( 2 Phd and Physics ) looking for 3rd partner ! The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a focus on analog and mixed-signal circuit design, semiconductor device physics, and integrated circuit design. Here are the key aspects of the professional background needed:
- Educational and Technical Expertise:
- A Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) with coursework or research focused on semiconductor devices, analog circuit design, and signal processing.
- In-depth knowledge of transistor operation, CMOS technology, and emerging semiconductor trends.
- Practical Experience:
- Several years (ideally 5-10) of industry experience working in semiconductor companies or R&D labs, particularly in designing and optimizing transistor circuits and integrated devices.
- Proven experience in developing and validating electronic devices, from simulation (using tools like SPICE or Cadence) to hands-on prototype testing in cleanroom or lab settings.
- Experimental Design and Validation:
- Expertise in designing experiments to test electronic performance, including establishing success criteria such as noise levels, power consumption, speed, and temperature stability.
- Experience in setting up measurement protocols and using advanced diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, cryogenic test equipment, etc.) to characterize device performance.
- Project and System Integration Skills:
- Ability to translate high-level physics-based concepts into practical electronic designs, ensuring the hybrid device meets integration requirements with conventional CMOS technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to iteratively refine designs based on experimental feedback.
- Collaborative and Communication Skills:
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and effectively communicating complex electronic design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying potential technical challenges and developing innovative solutions.
This engineer will play a critical role in guiding the electronic design of the hybrid device, defining the performance benchmarks and “success criteria” (such as ultra-low noise, energy efficiency, and reliable operation at cryogenic temperatures), and designing the necessary experiments to validate our concept. Their expertise will complement the existing physics-based insights of our founding team, ensuring that our innovation is robust, scalable, and commercially viable.
