Security Operations Center Analyst

We at Bynet Data Communications are recruiting an experienced Tier 2 Analyst for a role that combines 50% cybersecurity analysis and 50% implementation and operation of security solutions. This position requires the ability to handle complex cyber incidents, lead in-depth investigations, and manage advanced security products.

What your day will look like:

• Managing and operating security products such as EDR, Antivirus, Firewalls (FW), NAC solutions, and more.
• Escalating and resolving incidents from Tier 1.
• Monitoring cybersecurity systems and real-time threats, identifying risks, and providing an initial response.
• Investigating complex cybersecurity incidents and conducting in-depth forensic analyses.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a SOC Analyst – Required.
• At least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity incident investigation and response – Required.
• Completion of a 300+ hour cybersecurity course – Required.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CEH, CCNA, CCSA, Security+) – Advantage.
• Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems – Advantage.
• Experience in writing reports, scripting, and security product controls – Required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, responsibility, high learning ability, and teamwork – Required.
• At least 1 year of experience in operating cybersecurity solutions (EDR/AV/FW/NAC/Mail Relay) – Required.
• Knowledge of network topology and advanced understanding of communication protocols – Required.
• Deep familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems – Required.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours – Required.
• Security clearance screening is required (conducted by the employer).
