New Product Introduction Engineer

A leading company in the development and manufacturing of motion systems for advanced robots and precision manufacturing machines.

The role involves providing support for company projects with clients, including transitioning projects to production, creating drawings, instructions, assemblies, and setting up BOMs (Bill of Materials).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D, operations, and quality assurance teams to support the design, prototyping, and production launch of new products.
• Create and manage product files, including technical documentation, assembly instructions, and test procedures.
• Drive design transfer to manufacturing, including DFM/DFT, PCBA processes, and BOM creation.
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
• Provide engineering support for production challenges and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication across all project stakeholders, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electronics development and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PCB and PCBA technologies.
• Experience in NPI processes, including transfer of products from development to production.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and principles.
• Proficiency in technical documentation creation.
• High level of communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Background in motion control or industrial automation is an advantage.
