AI Researcher

Role Overview:

As an AI Researcher, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge AI solutions aimed at detecting and generating synthetic media, with a particular focus on deepfake detection and generation technologies. You will contribute to both generative and detection research, advancing the field of AI to protect against synthetic media manipulation. Your work will help shape the future of AI-driven threat detection while also pushing forward generative models used for creating synthetic media.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generative AI & Detection Development: Research and develop AI algorithms for both generating (e.g., deepfake models) and detecting synthetic media, including video, audio, and image synthesis.
• Stay Up-to-Date on Latest Research: Continuously monitor advancements in deepfake generation and detection, keeping track of the latest developments and state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods in the field.
• Model Training & Evaluation Lifecycle: Oversee the entire lifecycle of model development, from training through to evaluation, ensuring that models are thoroughly tested, validated, and refined at each stage to meet performance standards.
• Automation & Scaling of Training Process: Develop and implement automated systems to streamline and scale the model training process, optimizing efficiency and performance for complex models.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including machine learning engineers, software developers, and domain experts, to understand project requirements and achieve shared objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM field.
• Strong background in AI, machine learning, deep learning, or computer vision.
• At least 3-5 years of research and development experience in AI algorithms, particularly in video or audio applications, facial image processing, generative AI, or synthetic media detection.
• Proficiency in Python programming and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with generative models such as GANs, diffusion models, or deepfake technologies, or in broader applications of computer vision, including but not limited to facial recognition, object detection, image synthesis, and video analysis.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced AI domains such as model ensembling, multimodal algorithms, and integrating generative and detection systems.
• Experience in cybersecurity, threat simulation, or adversarial AI.
• Expertise in designing scalable, maintainable ML systems and optimizing algorithms for performance.
