DevOps- Platform Engineer

A startup company developing innovative storage technology designed for data-intensive companies, addressing the need for high performance in the cloud and AI era while significantly reducing costs.

Offices are located in Ramat Gan, near a train station, operating in a hybrid model with two work-from-home days.

The company has around 100 employees and recently secured a $65 million funding round.

Responsibility -

• Design and develop high quality and robust systems that support the build, deployment, tests and analysis of the product
• Develop and maintain CI/CD (Jenkins) pipelines for the R&D build and execution operations
• Design, develop and maintain micro-services systems to support the whole build/test/execute environment, consisted of Python based APIs, various databases (MongoDB/MySQL), etc.
• Develop and maintain configuration management (Ansible) solutions for bare metal servers
• Working with monitoring and metric collection systems such as ElasticSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering from leading academic institute.
• 8 years of experience as DevOps or platform engineer
• Python programming experience
• Experience in Micro services design and implementation using Docker/Kubernetes
• Proven experience in Jenkins CI/CD pipelines development
• Proven experience in RestAPI development – Flask/Django
• Experience in SQL and No-SQL Databases – MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Experience with configuration management tools – Ansible/Puppet/Chef
• Knowledge in Linux operating systems and bash
