Back End Developer

Startup company in the Cybersecurity field develops a platform based on Generative AI and advanced LLM technologies for the automatic remediation of security vulnerabilities in open-source code. According to the company, their solution fixes over 95% of critical vulnerabilities in the five most popular programming languages without requiring developers to be involved.

The company recently raised a $7.5 million Seed round led by one of the largest venture capital firms in Israel. They currently have 20 employees.

Located in Tel Aviv near a train station and offer one remote workday per week.

Founded by three experienced entrepreneurs, experts in cybersecurity, with backgrounds in elite technological military units and leading companies in the field.

The position is part of a team developing an automated LLM-based patching system for vulnerabilities. Development is primarily in Python, with some work in Go, and involves research to identify optimal solutions for vulnerabilities. The work is conducted on AWS Cloud, and part of the

role includes security research (examining issues with patches and optimizing the system, with minimal focus on vulnerabilities).

The role involves approximately 30% research work.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end development of backend software components (research, design, development, testing, rollout, monitoring)

• Contributing to technological and architectural decisions

• Conducting design and code reviews

• Analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various backend system components

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with Backend Engineering in a high-level programming language (e.g. Python, Golang)

• Experience with security research (e.g. vulnerabilities, exploits)

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)

• Experience with micro-services based architecture

• Startup mentality: high pace, dynamically changing tasks and priorities.
