Summary of Job Profile:
The Regional Head of Compliance, EMEA and Data Privacy Lead be responsible for Ethics & Compliance’s day-to-day activities in EMEA, as well as data privacy advice and counsel. Reporting directly to Orbia’s Chief Compliance Officer, you will partner closely with business leaders to implement Orbia’s strategic compliance goals and message a culture of integrity.
This is a maternity leave position starting as soon as possible, and will can be based in Poland the Czech Republic or Tel Aviv, Israel.
What you’ll do:
- Partner closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and compliance team members globally to implement Orbia’s compliance program’s strategic initiatives.
- Lead the local day-to-day compliance operations in EMEA, partnering closely with business leaders in six business groups to embed the compliance program’s strategic initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day guidance to employees and business leaders in sales, procurement, and operations on a variety of compliance topics, utilizing deep subject-matter expertise in at least two of the following subject areas: antitrust, CSRD/Human Rights, anti-money laundering and trade controls.
- Partner with the data privacy team to enhance policies and processes, including program documentation, leveraging a track-record of practical data privacy compliance implementation know-how.
- Collaborate internally to understand business initiatives and partner with Finance, People team, Internal Audit, and other Orbia departments to enhance policies, internal controls, and auditing and monitoring processes.
- Partner closely with investigative functions to ensure timely responses to concerns raised on Orbia’s Ethics Helpline and other reporting channels in EMEA and Netafim, ensuring that remediation efforts are satisfactorily implemented.
- Partner closely with subject matter experts in data privacy and antitrust to implement key compliance program initiatives in areas of responsibility; and create a network of ethics champions in the EMEA region.
- Deliver an annual compliance training and communication campaign in the region and deploy employee-friendly training and communications throughout the year on a variety of compliance topics including anti-corruption, antitrust, data privacy, trade controls, anti-money laundering, and Code of Ethics topics.
- Monitor regional regulatory and legislative changes and advise the Chief Compliance Officer about necessary programmatic changes.
- Oversee management of OneTrust software by data privacy specialist.

- s.Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on Orbia’s critical priorities in a fast paced, and at times high stress, work environmen

- s:Minimum of 3-6 years of hands-on compliance and data privacy experience; with additional work experience as a plu
- s.At least 3-6 years of experience working in a complex, multinational settin
- g.At least 3 years of experience working on anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, human rights, or trade controls compliance matters, is a strong plu
- s.Certifications that demonstrate data privacy, GDPR and CCPA expertise is a strong plu
- s.College Degree(s) from an accredited university. A law degree or Finance degree is strongly preferre
- d.Excellent verbal and written English. An additional language is a plu
