Mobile QA Lead

One of our clients, a leading technology company specializing in mobile solutions, is looking for a Mobile QA Lead to establish structured QA processes and lead a small but growing team.

This is a hands-on role that requires both leadership and technical expertise, making it a great opportunity for an experienced mobile QA engineer with strong leadership skills—whether or not they have prior formal management experience.

Previous management experience is a plus, but we are also open to highly skilled lead testers with strong leadership potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of two QA testers (each with one year of experience).
• Establish and enforce QA methodologies, work procedures, and structured testing processes.
• Write and review comprehensive testing documents (STP, STD, STR, ATP, ATR, TRR).
• Conduct hands-on testing, ensuring product quality across mobile platforms (Android, iOS).
• Manage ATP processes with clients, ensuring smooth and effective collaboration.
• Work closely with the Head of Mobile to transition the QA team into an independent unit.
• Train and develop team members, fostering a strong QA culture within the company.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in QA, with a focus on mobile testing (Android, iOS).
• Proven experience in writing and reviewing testing documents (STP, STD, STR, ATP, ATR, TRR).
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and Agile development processes.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TFS).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills – ability to introduce structured work processes.
• Ability to mentor junior testers while also conducting hands-on testing.
