Senior Data Scientist 5092

A challenging role in a new emerging group with lots of room to grow.

As part of the organization's Data and Business Analysis group (Data Office), under the company's Technology Division. Reporting to the Data Science Team Manager. A cross-functional role that touches on various aspects of the company's activities

The role includes:

Learning and characterizing ML modeling problems to support the organization's strategy, providing solutions while understanding the needs and business activities of the various organizational units

Establishing complex data structures for the needs of developing models and using them by business units in the company

Analyzing complex data in data tools and building analytics to solve business problems

Ability to perform visual explorations of data in BI tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI

Developing and validating statistical models and explaining models in business language

Implementing models in production and performing model validation after their implementation

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management / Economics / Statistics / Computer Science / Mathematics

2-3 years of experience as a Data Scientist

Experience and proven knowledge in complex SQL queries against large databases.

Experience in Python and knowledge of basic libraries such as Pandas/ Numpy/ sklearn seaborn/ matplotlib.

Knowledge of models such as Boosting/ Random Forest/ GLM/ Regression/ Clustering/ PCA/ SVM.

Experience in AWS

Experience in developing Supervised & Unsupervised statistical models

Familiarity with the AWS/Azure/Google Cloud worlds - a significant advantage.

High analytical and technical abilities - mandatory

Work in financial organizations - an advantage

Visual and systemic and understanding of complex processes - an advantage

High level of English - reading and writing
