BI and Analytics Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Analytics Engineer to enhance our Data Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop innovative data systems to support analytics initiatives.

- Utilize modern data platforms for data management, transformation, and processing for both real-time and batch workflows.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions for model training and deployment.

- Create and maintain ETL workflows for maritime data sources.

- Build backend services for data transformation, ensuring standardization for production readiness.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or BI development.

- Proficient in handling large data warehouse structures and developing pipelines in a Big Data environment.

- Strong understanding of software architecture and best practices.

- Excellent SQL skills with a focus on analytics.

- Experienced in Python programming and object-oriented concepts.

- Ability to distill complex business challenges into actionable technical specifications.

- Knowledge in designing decision engines with complex logic processing.

- Familiarity with data and schema standards.

- Experience in cloud environments, especially AWS, and with Snowflake is a plus.
