Senior DevOps Engineer

Description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to play a critical role in maintaining and developing our highly available, high-traffic platform. As part of the team, you will ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and efficient, enabling the business to meet current and future challenges. This role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and performance optimization.

You will be an integral part of a team managing and operating at a significant scale, and handling substantial traffic. You will be responsible for cloud infrastructure, creating CI/CD flows, Production and dev environments, and more.

Responsibilities

• Design and build efficient, high-quality cloud architectures to meet business needs.
• Manage, monitor, and scale our distributed, highly available applications to ensure reliability and performance.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure their applications are scalable and performant.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems, implementing them independently or in collaboration with the team.
• Debug production issues across all tiers of a massive distributed system spanning dozens of services.
• Embed with the team to promote best practices related to reliability, scalability, cost, and observability.
  
  

• 7+ years as a DevOps Engineer.
• 4+ years Experience with Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, GCP, etc.
• Proficient in using IaC tools like Terraform
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• A strong desire to learn and grow while working on a highly performant ad-serving platform.
• Ability to clearly communicate in both technical and non-technical settings.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, Bash scripting, and computer networking.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana.
  
  

• Experience in ClickHouse
• Proficiency in the programming language Golang or Python.
