We’re looking for a Python Developer for one of our Israeli clients which presents the best innovative solutions in the fields of software development, QA automation, DevOps, Database engineers.

Python Developer (Remote) – SAS Solutions Experience Preferred

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, experience working in a remote team environment, and proficiency in English. Experience with SAS solutions is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Work with data processing frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, or PySpark.
• Optimize database performance, working with SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) databases.
• Integrate and optimize solutions using SAS technologies (advantage).
• Develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Implement best practices for code quality, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with remote teams to develop and deploy software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.

Technical Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience with API development (REST, GraphQL) and integration.
• Proficiency in working with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming using asyncio, Celery, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with big data processing tools like Apache Spark or Kafka (advantage).
• Familiarity with SAS solutions (advantage).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing (PyTest, Unittest).
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
