The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Solutions Architect who will serve as the technical cornerstone in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend services and cloud infrastructure. This professional role emphasizes hands-on expertise and solution architecture, with an optional opportunity to manage and mentor team members. The primary focus is on delivering robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions that drive innovation in automation, 3D algorithms, and related tools.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop backend services, cloud infrastructure, and automation logic for architectural 3D models generation.
• Design and implement algorithms for 3D applications and estimating tools.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance scalability, performance, and security.
• Write and review code, ensuring best practices and coding standards are maintained.
• Implement robust integrations between systems, databases, and various environments.
• Maintain and enhance building information modeling tools and processes, focusing on efficiency and reliability.
• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS and serverless technologies.
• Optimize resource usage and performance while maintaining security and compliance.
• Oversee data exchange and integration across diverse systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, software developers, and cross-functional teams to align technical objectives with business goals, ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions between squads.
• Optionally mentor and guide junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Update and enforce technical standards to align with industry best practices.
• Ensure the design and modeling infrastructure integrates seamlessly with other software solutions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and innovation.

Requirements, Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of proven experience in software solutions development, with a strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure and backend development.
• Expertise in Python, Node.js, C# (multiple languages preferred).
• Experience with front end development including JS, React.
• Hands-on experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Advanced knowledge of AWS and serverless architectures.
• Solid understanding of data integration, user authentication, and security compliance.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a strong command of English (written and spoken).
• Optional experience in people management or mentoring, with a willingness to lead as needed.
