We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Hardware Engineer with expertise in embedded systems, schematics, and full product lifecycle development.

Job Description: We are looking for a Hardware Engineer who has extensive experience designing, assembling, and bringing up embedded hardware products. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with component selection, schematics and assembly. They should be comfortable owning the full hardware development lifecycle, from initial requirements through final testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full hardware development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Design and develop schematics for embedded systems.
• Select and integrate key hardware components, ensuring system compatibility and performance.
• Perform hands-on assembly, bring-up, troubleshooting, and debugging of hardware prototypes.
• Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and optimization of embedded hardware products.
• Collaborate with firmware/software teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
• Implement best practices in hardware security, ensuring robust protection against vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to networking-related hardware design and optimization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications and test procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in embedded hardware development.
• Proven experience in schematic design and PCB layout (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, etc.).
• Strong hands-on skills in assembling, testing, and debugging embedded hardware systems.
• Experience with full lifecycle hardware development, from concept to production.
• Solid understanding of hardware security principles and implementation techniques.
• Knowledge of networking hardware (Ethernet, wireless communication, etc.) is a significant plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with embedded software development (C, C++, Python) is a significant plus.
• Experience with secure hardware design (TPMs, cryptographic modules, etc.).
• Prior experience in defense, industrial, or critical infrastructure hardware development is a plus.
