About the Role:

We are looking for a Head of Flight Testing & Demonstration Unit with experience in flying & developing Airborne Systems in a variety of missions. You will be responsible for the following:

• Lead towards excellence in the Flight Testing & Demonstration Unit.
• Manage the unit and the overall flight line with its team leader in V&V tests for the variety of Spear’s Loitering munition family.
• leading flight studies and supporting Spear’s Development.
• Manage and execute successful demonstrations across various company projects in-country and abroad, acting as the front face for our customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction on matters of Training, Tests, OJT, and other activities needed to implement Spear’s Products.
• Manage regulatory issues & Certification, address Testing Methodologies and Standards. Coordinate with all stakeholders spanning from Product, R&D, and Operations, to Marketing. Work in a high–paced environment, meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
• This position includes - flights abroad for demonstrations.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

• 5 years of experience in flight Test operations - Must
• 5 years of experience in leading a team
• Experience in airborne systems V&V processes
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Experience in analyzing flight reports (logs) and failure investigations
• Experience conducting hazard assessments to support flight testing
• Communication skills in Hebrew and English
• Driver’s license.
• Drone pilot's license (CAAI) - advantage

Preferred Skills (Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies):

• Understanding & knowledge of engineering principles
• Experience in flight test investigation
• You must be presentable and have a high level of human relations and independence
• You must be able to write experimental plans and reports
• Drones technical background, Pixhawk, DJI -an advantage
• Ability to work in an office and test field environment
• Strong technical skills
