Consultant for Indirect Tax

Deloitte - the leading and largest firm in the world for consulting and accounting services is looking for a Consultant for Indirect Tax to join our Tax Department.

Our expert team provides specialized advice on indirect tax issues, guiding companies through complex tax landscapes. Led by top professionals with experience from the tax authority and consulting for leading companies, we support clients in all aspects of indirect taxes. This includes representation in VAT audits, obtaining pre-rulings from the tax authorities, and offering strategic opinions. Our work optimizes VAT reporting, reduces tax burdens, and supports both local and international transactions with comprehensive tax planning.

What You Will Do:

• Provide expert advice on all aspects of indirect taxes, including VAT and international transactions.
• Represent clients in VAT Audits and contestations and assist in obtaining pre-rulings from tax authorities.
• Optimize VAT reports to reduce tax burdens and maximize eligibility for VAT refunds.
• Support complex local and international transactions by developing comprehensive tax plans.
• Advise on the planning of import, export, and customs tax payments to minimize tax liabilities on products.

Your skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law/Accounting - Mandatory
• Completion of an internship (post internship in Law/Accounting) – Mandatory
• High level of English – Mandatory
• Great Writing and presentation skills – Mandatory
• One year of experience in indirect taxes – Significant advantage
• Experience from large CPA or law firms - Advantage.
