DevOps Engineer

Architecture / DevOps Eengineer – Job Overview:

Quantum Art, a full stack quantum computing company, develops state of the art quantum computing systems based on trapped ions technology (both hardware and software).

As part of our mission, our team builds our quantum processing units (QPUs), develops novel quantum gates and circuits, and implements new algorithms capable of solving hard computational tasks, beyond current classical computational abilities.

We are looking for an excellent, skillful DevOps Engineer to join our Software group.

Job description

Be responsible for architectural and DevOps aspects of the development of state-of-the-art software to activate and control the company’s quantum computing systems.

The work involves interaction with physicists, system and SW engineers. The job may require design & interaction with external providers.

The required responsibilities include:

·      Work closely with the Systems team to define the required architecture

·     Work closely with the SW team to develop CI/CD automation

·     Implement the required framework to support our cloud environment

Requirements and skills

·     BSc / MSc in Computer Science, Software engineering or equivalent, from a leading institute

·     Proven experience of 5 years in backend programming

·     Proven experience in architecture of complex systems

·     Experience with DevOps practices and technologies

·     Proven experience of at least 2 years in Python

·     Background in Data analysis, signal processing, noise modeling or RF systems – advantage

·     Development experience with Linux operating system - advantage

·     Team player, very good personal communication, presentation, and reporting skills
