System Engineer

A startup company in the medical field is developing an innovative cancer diagnostic device and is looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

The role involves leading the architecture and development of complex 3D systems, working with Computer Vision technologies.

The company is based in Caesarea (with shuttles from the train station) and offers a hybrid model with 1-2 remote workdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level design, development, and integration of the system.
• Contribute to 510(k) submissions and write design and development documents.
• Perform system analysis, modeling, and simulation to optimize performance.
• Coordinate integration of hardware, software, and algorithmic components.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in biomedical engineering or a related field;
• 5 years’ experience as an R&D engineer / System Engineer.
• Strong understanding of medical imaging technologies and cardiac physiology.
• Familiarity with medical device regulatory standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Experience in preparing 510(k) submissions and writing design and development documents.
