Platform Engineer

A global private equity firm and one of the most successful hedge funds in the world, with a Fintech-focused site in Israel, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their AI/ML Infrastructure Engineering team.

The role involves cloud development and engineering with Python, focusing on infrastructure support for AI/ML environments in both cloud (AWS, GCP) and on-premises.

The company has 5,000 employees globally, with 50 in Israel. The office is located in Ramat Gan (near a train station), offering one remote workday per week.

Key responsibilities include-

• Supporting various company functions by deploying isolated research environments for evaluating new tools using Terraform or similar tools.
• Implementing solutions across cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and Kubernetes, enhancing integration of new AI tools.
• Integrating third-party AI applications into the company’s systems.

Requirements-

• 4 years of experience as a Platform Engineer/Cloud Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in automation and scripting to streamline operational tasks.
• Experience with data integration and the creation of dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency in Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Knowledge of entitlement management and system architecture principles.
• Familiarity with collecting and analyzing developer productivity metrics.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive projects to completion.
• Experience coordinating with diverse tech teams such as DevOps, security, and InfoSec.
