Senior Optical Engineer

For a start up company with great funding, located in Tel Aviv, Israel.

We are looking for a talented Optical System Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our custom multi-spectral camera system, designed to detect chemical substances in the toilet.

This role encompasses work on image sensors, optics, image processing algorithms, system integration, and manufacturing, ensuring high-quality imaging performance that meets clinical trial standards.

The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including optical, mechanical, and software engineers.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with experience in manufacturing custom systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, etc.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing camera systems
• Strong grasp of image processing algorithms, optics & sensor technologies
• Proficiency in programming languages like C++ / Python
• Experience with image signal processors and related software
• Experience with custom systems manufacturing
