Head of Investment Operations

A leading financial organization is seeking a Head of Investment Operations to oversee and optimize its Back Office investment operations. This strategic leadership role involves managing complex investment processes, leading a professional team, and driving operational efficiency across multiple financial instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Operations Oversight – Managing structured loans, derivatives, investment funds, and other financial instruments.
• Team Leadership – Directly managing a department of approximately 18 employees, including 2-3 team leaders and additional operational staff.
• Process Optimization & Control – Enhancing workflows, record-keeping, and investment information systems for greater efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration – Working closely with Middle Office teams, reporting to senior leadership, and engaging with regulatory and financial entities.
• Operational Excellence – Implementing best practices to ensure a structured, high-performing investment operations environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in investment operations management, with expertise in non-tradable investments.
• Strong leadership experience, managing large and complex teams.
• Deep understanding of investment operations workflows within banks, insurance companies, pension funds, or investment houses.
• High managerial capabilities, strategic thinking, and strong analytical skills.
