Motion Control Operator - Student Position

Looking to kickstart your career in the EV industry? EVR Motors is developing the next generation of high-performance electric motors for the automotive industry, and we’re looking for a Motion Control Engineer (Student Position) to join our R&D team in Petah Tikva, Israel.

Location: Petah Tikva, Israel

Commitment: 20-40 hours per week

•  Motor testing, validation, and reporting
•  High-end EV motor test rigs
•  SPM & IPM motor control systems
•  Laboratory equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, RLC meters, power analyzers, surge testers, etc.)
•  Various sensors (position sensors, thermal sensors, accelerometers, torque transducers)
•  CAN Bus communication & data acquisition software
•  Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and controller manuals
•  High-voltage (HV) electrical circuits (up to 800V)

•  3rd-year or higher BSc student in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
•  Hands-on experience with three-phase high-power electric motors (BLDC, PMS, IM)
•  Strong background in electrical measurements (voltage, current, THDu, PF)
•  Experience working with power supplies, controllers, measuring tools, batteries, and voltage converters
•  Proficiency in Python & Excel VBA (Bonus: Busmaster, LabVIEW, MATLAB)
•  Experience with CAN Bus protocol (preferred)
•  Knowledge of electromechanical rotation systems & drivetrains (a plus!)
•  High-level English skills
