Process Development Engineer

About The Position

Gauzy is a global leader in materials science and nanotechnology focused on the development and production of LCG® (Light Control Glass) technologies.

Our R&D department is looking for a talented engineer, to join our Process Development team.

The scope of work includes novel applications development through improvement of our products quality and process yield.

Responsibilities

• Support development and NPI at our production site abroad.
• Analyze defects and establish correlations between the physical properties of liquid mixtures, process parameters, and final product performance.
• Lead development processes with subcontractors to enhance production capabilities.
• Establish new tools for analysis and optimize documentation.
• Collaborate with different teams including R&D, Operation and QA to drive innovation and efficiency.
  
  

• M.Sc. or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering, or related fields – is a must.
• Hands-on experience in film coating, formulations and mixing equipment – is a must.
• Research experience at least in one of the fields of polymer physics/ colloid science/ emulsions/ rheology/ fluid mechanics – is a must.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience– an advantage.
• Experience in leading projects and mentoring other engineers/researchers- an advantage.
• Willing to travel occasionally to our production site abroad- is a must.
• Creative, open-minded, proactive, and self-driven.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English (written and verbal).
