Location: Tel - Aviv



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Backend Developer Team Leader to join our team. This is a key

role in our next generation of distributed and highly-scaled product for network orchestration. We are

building a new team for a newly initiated large product and this position gives the opportunity to shape

the architecture and influence the technical choices.

Key Responsibilities

• Join a skilled and experienced team focused on high-quality code and product development
• Design, develop, and maintain the next-gen network orchestration product
• Play a key role in shaping the product’s architecture and roadmap
• Primarily use Python to develop scalable, containerized networking applications
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and design scalable backend solutions
• Work with network infrastructure components such as routers and switches
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and Product, to ensure highquality deliverables
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and industry
  
  

• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive continuous improvement within
  
  

• Python experience of 5+ years
• 3+ years of experience as a development team leader
• Experience with server-to-server communication (e.g.,REST, gRPC)
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Experience working with Linux
• Familiarity with databases (relational and non-relational)
• Understanding of networks and knowledge of common networking protocols
• Strong skills in diagnosing and fixing issues
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced
  
  

• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with experience collaborating across cross-disciplinary
  
  

• General Linux skills, such as setting up common services (e.g., Nginx), understanding YAML files,
  
  

• Experience with TSDB (e.g., Influx)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
