Accounts controller

We are looking for an Accounts controller that will handle the following: Control on chartering payments and analysis of financial reports data, Preparing PO’s for charter vessels in due time, follow-up on all chartering and operation activities.

• Prepare the bi-weekly chartering payments and ensure accuracy and remittance on due date.
• Handle with daily request and issues arose by owners regarding chartered vessels payments and related issues.
• Oversee and follow-up on non-finalized redelivered vessels remaining balances
• Prepare various monthly reports regarding chartering payments (CF forecast, aging reports, Etc..)
• Manage and execute accounting process of CH expenses allocation in SAP
• Prepare various accounting related reports supporting the quarterly financial closing process
• Suggest and lead various SAP developments to improve controls
• Insert text
• Chartering payments execution, monitoring regarding daily issues arose by owners, oversee regarding changes in chartered vessels terms and conditions
• Oversee and follow-up on non-finalized old, redelivered vessels balances
• Preparing of chartering related reports and accounting related reports
• Suggest, lead and follow-up on required SAP developments
  
  

• BA in economics/ Business Administration
• 1-2 experience in a similar role - advantage
• SAP experience – major plus
• MS Office – Excel proficiency -must (Vlookup, Sumifs, Countifs, Pivot table, Etc.)
• English - Strong communication skills and fluency (Mainly reading, writing and comprehension)
