Technical Writer (Freelance)

To this end, we introduced our comprehensive all-in-one Secure & Insure platform in early 2023, and continue to grow and expand our team, our partnerships and our revenue.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products and services. This role is crucial in enabling our support team, product, and other teams to deliver clear, concise, and accurate information to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. This is a freelancer role - 3-4 days a week in our office in Tel Aviv.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, FAQs, knowledge base articles, and API documentation.
• Collaborate with the support team to document SOPs, troubleshooting steps, and training materials.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to translate complex technical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand documentation.
• Ensure consistency in terminology, formatting, and style across all documentation.
• Continuously improve documentation based on user feedback.
• Manage documentation repositories and ensure they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Provide training and guidance on documentation best practices to internal teams.
  
  

• At least 4 years of experience in a paid position designated as a technical writer in a high tech environment.
• Native English speaker with conversational Hebrew.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and clear language.
• Ability to create visual content, such as diagrams and flowcharts, to complement written materials.
• Demonstrated understanding of topic-based authoring and reusable information architecture.
• Experience exploring a customer's problem space and addressing their needs through documentation.
• Experience writing product documentation for security products, SaaS applications, and cloud platform environments - major advantage.
• Portfolio of writing samples that clearly communicate technical information in a modern, conversational voice and tone - major advantage.
• Outstanding communication skills and great interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn new things, people, and environments.
