Senior backend Developer

Your Role

• Develop new backend features and design architectures in our leading product
• Build and maintain scalable, efficient, and elegant micro-services
• Write clean, functional, and efficient code
• Work on a high-scale, production-grade platform used by top industry companies
• Uphold the highest coding standards in your work
• Develop features end-to-end, from requirements to production, while collaborating with product managers and the development team
• Resolve production issues and monitor our applications in the production environment
• Configure and maintain a production-ready Kubernetes cluster
• Research new technologies that could enhance our tech stack
• Participate in daily standup meetings and other Scrum-related ceremonies
• Provide mentoring and conduct code reviews on a daily basis to support the professional growth and development of team members
  
  

• 6+ years of experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders

• Ability to monitor our systems, identify, investigate, and resolve issues
• Experience in integrating with other systems

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, C#, or any other high-level language
• Experience with TypeScript
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) design patterns
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other message queue (MQ) services
• Experience with job scheduling systems
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or similar
• Experience with NoSQL Database (MongoDB / Cassandra / Redis)
• Familiarity with continuous deployment (CD) tools such as Argo or Jenkins
• Proficiency in Node.js
• Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL
• Experience with microservices environments
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodology

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (ElasticSearch, Grafana, DataDog).
• Knowledge of other programming languages.
• Academic degree or military experience in software development.
• Experience with React.
