Job Description

The Medical Doctor (Night Shift) will be responsible for attending to patients during nighttime hours, ensuring continuity of care by replacing the day-shift doctors. The role does not involve supervision or administrative duties but focuses on direct patient care.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to inpatients during night shifts.
• Assess and manage emergency cases and critical conditions.
• Follow treatment plans established by the daytime medical team.
• Coordinate with nurses and other medical staff for patient management.
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the day-shift team.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during night hours.
• Implement treatment protocols and medical guidelines.
• Supervise and support night shift medical staff, including nurses, and technicians.
• Monitor patient care outcomes and suggest improvements.
• Mentor junior medical professionals.
  
  

Education

Job Requirements:

• MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree.
• Specialization in Oncology, Internal Medicine, or General Medicine is preferred. Experience:
• Minimum [X] years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Prior experience in oncology or working night shifts is an advantage.

• Strong patient care and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
