Head of Architecture

As a Head of Architecture, you will build, lead, and manage a team of Cloud Architects who share a passion for architecture design, programming, and customer obsession, fostering their growth to help them become the best version of themselves. Our Cloud Architects are pivotal in bridging business needs and technology, engaging with startups at all stages of cloud adoption. Establish strong technical partnerships with customers, provide guidance, and solve complex cloud challenges.

What You’ll Do:

• Build, lead, and manage a team of professional and ambitious Cloud Architects to assist our customers in developing complex, production-grade cloud architectures.
• Provide technical leadership guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Work closely with the CTO, building internal/external robust processes for scale, and setting customer value and satisfaction as our guiding principle.
• Take a leading role in creating and presenting technical content (e.g., blogs, meetups, webinars), and give prescriptive guidance on creating business value with technology.
• Collaborate with our customers to design highly available, robust, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures across multiple verticals.
• Assist customers in building cloud-native architectures from scratch and significantly enhance existing infrastructure to achieve their business goals.
• Develop and implement training programs that empower your team, ensuring they stay ahead of industry trends and continuously elevate their skills.
• Identify and solve complex networking, performance, and availability challenges with our customers.
• Lead in-depth architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, industry-leading topics, and best practices, while pursuing and solving problems.
• Collaborate closely with the Account Management and Sales department.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience as a Tech Lead/Architect for large-scale production-grade products/architectures.
• 10+ years of experience with cloud technologies, including at least 5 years with AWS.
• Proven leadership skills in people management and technology.
• Proven expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems with a can-do attitude.
• Experience in software development with one or more languages such as Go, Rust, Python, Java, or equivalent.
• Experience with networking and security best practices.
• Self-learner with the ability to master new technologies, conduct research, and implement innovative solutions.
• Experience and understanding of the startup ecosystem.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills – Hebrew & English.
