Director of Finance

We seek a strategic and experienced Director of Finance to lead and manage our accounting team, ensuring strict adherence to accounting standards, driving financial operations, and overseeing the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Fintech, a deep understanding of GAAP, and a track record of scaling finance operations in a high-growth environment.

Job Requirement

• Main Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and timely delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for our US and Israeli entities in
• accordance with US GAAP. Develop and maintain reporting schedules to provide
• transparency into financial performance.
• Accounting Operations: Manage all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and tax.
• Cash Management: Manage cash flow and treasury functions, including forecasting and monitoring cash levels to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and processes
• to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Audit and Compliance: Manage all external audits and coordinate with auditors to
• ensure timely and accurate audit results. Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Working Closely with the FP&A team to provide accounting support in developing the annual budget, financial forecasts, and strategic
• planning initiatives.
• Systems and Tools: Optimize the company’s financial systems and tools, including
• ERP systems, to support scalable growth and operational efficiency. Lead initiatives to
• automate and streamline accounting operations, leveraging technology to reduce manual tasks and improve data integrity.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  
  

• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
• 5-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a similar leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience implementing/upgrading ERP systems, Netsuite is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis
• CPA license
