Senior Mechanical Engineer JB-4005

Position Description:

• Reports to HW R&D Manager
• Takes part in product development throughout the product life cycle.
• Responsible for aspects of mechanical development of the current and future company products.
• Hands on mechanical design and fabrication.
• Responsible to transfer to production of the company products.
• Participating in mechanical aspects of the V&V, CE and FDA submission, including protocol writing, testing, test reports, etc.
• Responsible to meet tight schedules and meet milestones.
• Responsible to management of subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Education B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from known institution.
• 7-10 years of experience in mechanical design of electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks a must, additional CAD- advantage
• Experience in the design of complex and miniature mechanisms
• Experience in industrial machines design
• Design to manufacturing. Familiar with production technologies: machining, sheet metal, plastic injection molding etc.
• Experience in management of subcontractors
• Experience in transferring products from R&D to production
• Independent work capability, time and tasks managing, high interpersonal and communication skills
• Hands-on approach to electro- mechanical assembly
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Language skills (Verbal and read/write)- Hebrew and English required
