Part-Time Bookkeeper / Qualified Accountant - Part-time 50 percent position.

You'll assist with financial matters while contributing to projects that are reshaping Israel's urban landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with the CEO and CFO to prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and track variances
• Accounting & Reporting: Prepare full sets of accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations
• Bookkeeping: Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
• Tax Returns & Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring timely payment and compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Financial Statements: Prepare and reconcile financial statements; oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, process payments, and track transactions
• Payroll: Process payroll and related reporting
• Audit Liaison: Work closely with external auditors and consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to internal accounting systems and processes
• Strategic Reporting: Provide key financial insights and reports to the CFO and executive team
  
  

• Mandatory: Valid Israeli CPA license (or recognized equivalent)
• Minimum Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Experience: At least 5 years' experience in bookkeeping/accounting, including practical experience in preparing accounts and handling tax returns
• Bookkeeping: Certified Bookkeeper (Level 2 minimum, Level 3 preferred) with hands-on experience
• IFRS: Experience with IFRS reporting standards
• Language Skills: Complete fluency in Hebrew and English (written and spoken) is essential
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; ERP experience advantageous.
