Job Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Manager with 3 years of experience (Relevant experience from the military is applicable) in cloud technologies and coding. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage and guide a team toward perfection. This role also requires excellent communication skills to interact with end customers and ensure the highest level of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Oversee and guide the DevOps team, ensuring the adoption of best practices in cloud computing, CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management.
• Cloud Expertise: Work with AWS and other cloud platforms to architect, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure.
• Coding & Automation: Provide technical oversight on scripting, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations.
• People Management: Lead and mentor DevOps engineers, ensuring continuous skill development and performance improvement.
• Customer Engagement: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs, address issues, and provide DevOps solutions tailored to their business.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiency across the DevOps pipeline.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide reports on team performance, system reliability, and customer engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related fields. (Relevant experience from the military is applicable.)
• Strong cloud expertise in AWS (preferred) or other cloud platforms.
• Coding experience in Python, Go, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and lead a team.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git, and monitoring tools.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
• A results-driven mindset with a commitment to perfection and continuous improvement.
• Willingness and ability to relocate as per business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certification (AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-driven DevOps environment.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud and DevOps workflows.
