Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cybersecurity Presales Engineer with expertise in SIEM, SOC, and Cloud Security to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer needs. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, strong communication skills, and business insight to help drive customer success and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Presales Support

Engage with customers to understand their cybersecurity challenges and requirements.

Present and demonstrate SIEM, SOC, and cloud security solutions, tailoring them to customer-specific use cases.

Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations.

Solution Architecture

Design and recommend architecture and solutions for SIEM, SOC, and cloud security deployments.

Map customer requirements to technical solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions aligned with the company’s offerings.

Customer Engagement

Act as a trusted advisor to customers by addressing technical concerns and providing strategic guidance.

Lead technical discussions and workshops to support the sales process.

Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders and decision-makers.

Industry Expertise

Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, including advancements in SIEM, SOC tools, and cloud security frameworks.

Provide thought leadership by sharing insights and best practices with customers and internal teams.

Collaboration and Enablement

Work closely with the sales team to develop winning strategies and close deals.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to address customer feedback and improve solutions.

Train and enable internal teams on cybersecurity products and market trends.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on SIEM (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar), SOC operations, and cloud security (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).

Proven experience in a presales, consulting, or technical advisory role.

Technical Skills:

Deep understanding of SIEM deployment, log management, and threat detection use cases.

Hands-on experience with SOC workflows, incident response, and security automation tools.

Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, such as Zero Trust, CIS Benchmarks, and cloud-native security tools (e.g., Azure Defender, AWS Security Hub).

Certifications (Preferred):

SIEM-specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, Splunk Core Certified Professional).

Cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Security Specialist, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer).

Soft Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Strong presentation and interpersonal skills to engage customers and stakeholders effectively.

Business acumen with a results-driven approach.
